Hello Pretties!
2012 is ending. As usual, it seems like the end of the year came very quickly. This was a great year for me and I am thankful for 3 BIG things:
1. Completing my Master’s Degree in Management with an HR focus
2.Traveling solo for the first time
3.Starting an awesome blog robincharmagne
Each event has its own significance. An advanced degree signifies my expertise and knowledge in a field that I love, Human Resources. Going to school and working was tough, but so worth it. I’m a nerdy diva at heart and I still have a love of learning. I’m a twin so doing anything by myself is bothersome. But, this year for my birthday, I spent 4 fantastic days, by myself, in one of my favorite cities, Chicago! A true cosmopolitan city with great shopping and dining. And then, I wrote the first word of my blog robincharmagne on September 21st. My blog is a dream come true, a chance to share my passions with others and hopefully encourage others to do the same. Already I have met some great people through blogging.
This year I realized it is cliché but true, “Just do it”. Recent events reminded me that tomorrow is not promised to any of us. If God gives you a new day, make the most of it doing the things you love.
I’ve written down 3 more BIG things and I’m looking forward to 2013 and the manifestation of some good stuff!
Keep it Pretty,
robincharmagne

Enjoyed your blog! My first solo trip was to Chicago. I went to see Wicked, shopped, attended a festival and went on a boat tour and took that same picture you took above! I ended up moving to Chicago 6 months later….5 years later and I am still here:)
Wishing you the best in 2013! #BLMBlogHop ~Toya Nicole @ http://www.mstravelchic.com
Hi Toya,
Thanks so much for stopping by! I love Chicago and if it wasn’t for the cold weather, this GA Peach would be moving too. The boat ride was really fun and interesting and you know the shopping was crazy. I had a blast! Have a wonderful holiday!
Congrats on graduating! I am travelling solo for the first time next year. Sure it’s only to ATL and for ONE day until my friends join me the next day, but alone for ONE DAY none the less! I can’t wait. #BLMGirls
Hi Britton,
Thank you! I had so much fun in Chicago, doing whatever I wanted. Definitely doing the solo thing again in 2013. Enjoy your visit to the “A”!
