Ten Tools For Closet Organization

Hello,
Back to work today after a couple days off, feeling refreshed. And, realizing January is a great month to refresh things around the house. First stop, reorganization of a small closet in my office/den. I seriously cringe every time I open the door, afraid something will fall on my head or that I can’t find what I’m looking for anyway – so scary. It is actually a catchall for all kinds of stuff – paper/crafts/electronics/books/stationery/gift bags and anything else that doesn’t have a home. Take a peek…

Yes that space is an absolute mess, no other way to describe it. The room is not very big but with the right tools, it could be a well organized space. I need 6 separate spaces for all that stuff and I want to make use of the door too as an organizing area. Here are some fab organizing tools.

This is a daunting task but will make my life much more efficient when I can easily find things and not re-buy things that I already have because I can’t find them in this mess. This is a good example of a well organized space. I will keep y’all posted on my progress, this is going to be a big project!

    Well, today I just discovered “How Jen does it” because I wanted to do some cleaning as well. And girl, I am lovin’ her channel!

    Of course I have a closet that looks like that downstairs, but my Sis helped in the mess. She has more items in it than I do and I am waiting for her to clean it out. .LOL!

    Great tips. You should see my basement closet! Looks similar but more dark and scary. No one wants to even go through it. lol

    Hi Robin,
    I am so bad at keeping things in one place. No matter how hard I try. I think I will do better this year. Sometimes I think about decorating shoe boxes and use them to store stuff. Great post, hun!
