Did you enjoy the Labor Day Holiday? Catch any good sales? Believe it or not, I didn’t buy one thing over the holiday weekend. But if I did, a handbag would be my first choice. I posted about my love of handbags and I was thrilled when the lovely folks at Yak Pak sent me a very pretty tote to review. Yak Pak, a New-York based lifestyle brand, started in 1989 and produces an array of accessories including backpacks, messenger bags and casual accessories. They are regarded as industry leaders in providing bold and forward thinking designs and styles for their accessory line. I chose the travel tote.

I really loved the vibrant colors in this tote and the deep center pocket that closes like a purse. The size and weight of the tote is perfect for traveling. The deep inside pocket provides easy access for all my essentials, e. g. cell phone, makeup case, wallet, keys, checkbook. Yep, this tote held all of those things I don’t leave the house without. For travel, I would not be concerned at all about theft with the deep pocket, so I would also put my camera and foreign currency in there as well. And, most important, this tote is constructed nicely and is high quality. The vinyl makes it super easy to clean! I would only add one feature to this tote and that is an inside zip pocket. I enjoyed carrying this tote and look forward to using it for upcoming travel.

It’s essential for carrying all your goodies – phone, tablet, books/magazines, lip balm, sunscreen, water bottle, and of course your beach towel. Choose a tote bag with shoulder straps so it’s easier to carry across a sandy beach. Now if you want to get super cute, match your tote bag to your swimsuit and cover-up! Can you say beach babe! Yep you still wanna be pretty on the beach. My pick is a tote in two major trends, black and white and floral. It’s a big bag with shoulder straps and matches my swimsuit!
