Del Frisco’s Grille – The Weekend

Buckhead-Restaurant-Week
Hello Pretties,
Ohhh the weekend went by sooo fast. I just don’t know where it went because half the time, I was under the weather. Silly Spring cold, but I am much better today. But I would not let a little cold keep me from enjoying a good meal. Yep, last week was Buckhead Restaurant Week. Restaurant Weeks are the perfect way to try out new restaurants without breaking the bank. I picked a winner, check it out!

Weekend – This and That

March 9, 2015 by robincharmagne 4 Comments

Hello pretties,
Was your weekend all kinds of awesome? It was a beautiful weekend in The A, which means good times!
the weekend

The Theta Omicron Omega chapter of AKA held our cotillion on Saturday introducing some amazing young folks. It is so good to see young people doing big things! I’ll have more about the cotillion fashion later this week, stayed tuned. Time change sucks, but I still got up early to have breakfast with some good girl friends. I have heard so much about West Egg and it did not disappoint. I had the Peachtree Plate with pimento cheese grits and brown sugar bacon(once in awhile treat). Good food and fellowship usually leads to shopping, so we dipped in IKEA and that place is still dabomb.com. So much good stuff at reasonable prices. I think I found the desk configuration for my office “mini-makeover”. I took a long nap on Sunday, something I never do! The weekend also marked a huge moment in history, the march in Selma over the Edmund Pettus bridge. There is a move to change the name of this bridge, I’m all for it!

The Weekend

December 12, 2014 by robincharmagne 8 Comments

Happy Holidays,
I am so glad it is the weekend. Looking forward to chillaxin with old friends and new, and of course y’all know how I love a good Sunday Brunch, at a cute spot. Check out this funny take on brunch. I’m also finishing up Christmas shopping and decorating this weekend. I would love to try a new Christmas DIY and a whimsical dress might be just the ticket. These beautiful creations are all over the web and thought, I could do that. Here’s a favorite.

These DIY Christmas dresses marry two of my favorite things – Fashion and Christmas. This is an easy project, just need – a dress form, some greenery, a few lights, and a few ornaments and shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes. I may surprise you on Monday.

What are you pretties up to this weekend? Whatever you do, have fun and enjoy it!

The Weekend

July 14, 2014 by robincharmagne 6 Comments

weekend, sushi, wedding

Hello,
How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was pretty fun! Hungout with a good girlfriend and nibbled on some delicious sushi. I was adventurous and let my friend pick all the sushi rolls and to my surprise they were delicious. Next stop, Trader Joe’s. So everyone raves about Trader Joe’s so we dipped in for a quick grocery run. I have to say, I wasn’t all that excited. It’s a tiny store with mostly their brands. The prices were good though and I snagged a $2.99 bottle of Shiraz so all and all it was a fun grocery shopping field trip. And my cashier rang the bell and he gave me a cute reusable tote bag for being a first time shopper. Topped the weekend off at my cousin’s wedding. It was so beautiful, a truly fancy wedding. I loved this sign carried into the ceremony by the sign bearer, one of the groom’s cute nieces. I was so tired Sunday night but I’ll be seriously grinding these next two weeks, leading up to my b-day. Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and let’s have an even better week.

Happy Monday!
