Hey Pretties,
1 down, 2 to go, woot woot! Thanksgiving and Black Friday are right around the corner. Today is the last part of the Thanksgiving Mini-Series. Thanksgiving=Eating, so you have your beautiful menu, you’ve got everything you need to make all those tasty yummies, now what are you going to do after Thanksgiving Dinner?? Yep, football is on every channel and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, but what about a movie marathon? I picked 4 movies with a bunch of sequels so you can veg out in front of the tv the rest of the day and yes I included something for the kiddos. You’re going to need your strength for Black Friday shopping! Grab the fam and pop some popcorn, try it with a twist here.
What are you doing after Thanksgiving Dinner? Who wouldn’t watch Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese, and Ludacris?? I guess you know my choice!

Hi Pretties,
This OOTD was inspired by a recent “Pretty Perspective” on the robincharmagne Facebook page. On the Facebook cover page, I post a new handy dandy fashion tidbit each week. Last week, stripes were in the spotlight. For years, stripes were considered a fashion don’t for plus size women, but I think done correctly stripes work well for any body type. This stripe is wide and runs horizontally which makes the body appear leaner. The v-neck narrows the overall silhouette. The pants are a skinny ponte knit, a very wearable fabric. And the dark solid again makes for a slimmer overall silhouette. Of course boots are still on trend this year. This is a slouchy pair in a suede with the perfect heel height. I can wear these all day and my feet will still love me. And, the jewelry is old. Yes, statement necklaces are all the rage but sometimes with a stronger print such as stripes, simpler is better. I’ll probably re-run this outfit Thanksgiving day!
Do you wear stripes?
