Hey pretties,
Stripes, um yeah, your eyes are not deceiving you! In the not too distant past, I rocked the top and of course I loved the stripes and snagged the dress too. This might be a trend in my OOTDs. Take a peek…

Hello pretties,
Silver or you could call it grey is one of my favorite colors. But, what’s crazy about that is I didn’t actually know that until I looked at my Instagram account and realized, I wear a lot of grey. Add that to the list with black, my often worn favorite.
Another oldie but goodie, this sweater with hints of silver threads, falls in that category we talked about in the last OOTD of being sexy in a subtle way. The cold-shoulder style top is so popular this season and I am here for it. Brace yourselves because I am rocking that style right up to the fall season. The key hole is another detail that ups the sexy of this sweater. Now you might be thinking a sweater? It is hot as fish grease but the fabric is so light weight and the open details make it airy as well. It is perfect for a restaurant or movie theater, which are notoriously cold in the summer months.
These jeans, these jeans! Soooo, I purchased these in December and never wore them. Fast forward to July 2016, I try them on and guess what, they were kinda big. Winning! Get ready to see these and the white pair in other OOTDs. Paired with simple silver dangly earrings, big slouchy satchel, and block heel mules, if you catch me on Friday or Saturday night I will be rocking this uniform.
What fashion item are you crazy for this Summer?

Hello,
Prints vs. solids? We are talking about adding interest to your Spring/Summer looks with prints. This dress is actually a throw back from two years ago, this is my 50th birthday frock. Black was my first choice but black can be boring for a milestone occasion so I opted for this print maxi in my favorite silhouette, off the shoulder, take a peek.

Hi pretties,
International Lover is my all-time favorite song by the iconic, legendary, genius artist we lost last week, Prince. I don’t know about y’all but Prince was a favorite of mine for years. My sister and I saw him perform here in The A at the Omni! What a memory. I loved his lyrics and the use of metaphors. Prince was just brilliant with that in the International Lover. The song is about travel, well kind of, but I wanted to tie it into today’s OOTD. This graphic tee from The Travel Divas is a favorite, take a peek…

Hello pretties,
Camouflage pants are seriously becoming my new denim. I do not hunt or fish on the regular so I do not have a clue as to why I am so fond of this print, but I am and have rocked it a bunch of times – here, here, and here! I think for one – they were such a fabulous buy at under $20 bucks and two – they fit me so well. Like a glove but not a sausage. Two important fit points for petite ladies, a pant that hits below the ankle but above the feet and that hugs the leg without cutting off your circulation is the ticket. I have worn them fairly casual but I wanted to show you how to elevate the casual look of the camo pant. Take a peek…

Hello pretties,
Walk away in this week’s OOTD and you will turn heads. Fringe details are a popular fashion trend I blogged and vlogged about and since the weather in The A is about to get warmer, I thought I better grab a chance to rock my fringe sweatshirt. This ELOQUII Plus Size Fringe Back Top is deceiving with the simple front and some fun action in the back. Take a peek…
This shirt is so fun had me feeling like a rocker chick for real, just add a Harley Davidson!! The fabric is rather lightweight, but does not feel like a heavy sweatshirt. The real drama is the faux leather fringe in the back. This is a great conversation starter! You want to catch someone’s eye? Walk by in this sweatshirt, girl yes!!
I paired with dark rinse, boot cut jeans which are generally flattering for most body types. I prefer the boot cut over the skinnies because you get a lot more thigh room and Lord knows I need it. If you are really getting in touch with your bolder alter ego, you could easily pair this sweatshirt with faux leather leggings, jeggings or pants if you dare. A faux leather skirt would be a sexy pairing too. The simple front styling makes this a perfect canvas for a statement necklace. This one features spike and chain details perfect for this look. The long silver dangle earrings have some ridged detailing but the star is still the necklace. The fun continues with the novelty clutch, another way to add interest to an outfit. I have worn these shoes (sim) before, they are so old but I still love the pointy toe and skinny heels. And believe it or not, they are comfortable.
Sometimes we make fashion so serious, but it can be fun and a bit whimsical. I like making more adventurous fashion choices. It is so fab when an outfit comes together like this one, simple but not so simple.
What is your most daring fashion choice?

Hello pretties,
Outfits, outfits, and more outfits! 75 in fact. Celebrating all the tops, tees, jeans, shoes, skirts, dresses, jewelry, handbags, and even shorts featured in 75 fashion posts. I have never been shy when there is a camera around and cute clothes, always loved taking pictures. But fashion posts are a tad different since folks all over the blogosphere can see and critique your photos. That thought can be quite daunting but you can’t let the fear of Negative Nellies keep you from doing something you love and I did not. Let’s celebrate and wear sequins in the day time with our favorite tee, take a peek…

Hello,
We had snow flurries on yesterday, nothing major, thank goodness. Hoping for good weather as we get ready for Love Weekend. We talked about wearing black on Valentine’s Day and today I’m sharing one of my choices. Neoprene has become a popular fabric for dresses and skirts and I have wanted to try it without spending a whole bunch of coins for what could be an unwearable or uncomfortable item. So I decided to use Gwynnie Bee to sample the trend. Take a peek…

Hello Pretties,
Fabulous is how I would describe this sexy off the shoulder top from you already know my favorite online retailer – Eloquii. The weather in The A is a bit wonky, the temperature is in the 70 degree range so I was happy to pull out a recent purchase that I was actually saving to wear in Spring. But hey Mother Nature said, go ahead and wear it now! First OOTD (outfit of the day) of February, woot woot! Take a peek…

Hello,
Hope everyone is taking January by the horns. Today is the first OOTD (outfit of the day) of 2016. I vlogged about the fabulous wrap designed by Nene Leakes sold on HSN. It just might be my most favorite clothing item purchased in 2015! Clothes don’t have to be practical and utilitarian, they can be playful too! Take a peek…
