Hello and Happy Friday!
This week was really busy but it went by kinda fast. What are y’all doing for the weekend? I’m chillaxin and starting vacation prep since it is only two weeks away. Just in time for vacation is the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! I acknowledge I am not a Nordstrom’s girl, but after finding this gown for $114 bucks, I was sold. Today’s Faves on Friday are a few things from the sale that are my favorites!…

Hello pretties,
I’m trying out a comfy, casual fall fashion trend – the embellished sweatshirt. I’m talking rhinestones, studs, and sequins. I love sparkly bling of any kind and wearing it on a sweatshirt is right up my alley. I was so stoked to find the one I’m wearing at Old Navy for $20 bucks! It’s the perfect day/night option which can be paired with boyfriend jeans for day or a cute leather skater skirt for night.
Check out the lovely Jess at Jess Style Rules rocking another sparkly sweatshirt from Old Navy and these sparkly gems from ASOS.
These are not your old ratty gym sweatshirts. If you’re looking for a more creative and affordable option, try a DIY. This would be an easy project, some inspiration here, here, here. I blogged about Wander and Hunt website where you can purchase complete rhinestone kits. Hmmm, I think I’m feeling inspired too, more to come on the blog. You can wear it solo or layer with a chambray shirt or turtleneck. Sweatshirts are pretty and practical and a good summer to fall transition piece too!
Have you tried the embellished sweatshirt trend?

Save The Tatas!
Hi Pretties,
It’s the first day of October and of course the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I was going to post some sobering statistics about breast cancer and saving the tatas, but instead here are two important facts, early detection is key as well as maintaining a healthy lifestyle. That’s all the preaching I’m doing today. Since Pink is the signature color to show your support of the efforts to save the tatas, I curated some Pink goodies just for you.
A percentage(whole or in part) of the proceeds from some of these items may go to a breast cancer organization. But if you like, you make a direct donation here and here.
Self exams, mammos, manage stress, diet, and exercise, let’s work to save the tatas. Take care lovelies!!

It Ain’t Easy Being Green
Hello pretties,
It’s the last day of the work week, and the beginning of a holiday weekend. Sunday is Saint Patrick’s Day – a no muss no fuss holiday where anything goes. I pulled together a no frills but fun look to kick back in on Sunday.
One of the largest Saint Patrick’s Day Celebrations is held right here in Savannah, Georgia. Complete with a parade and all kinds of fun, from parties to live music and consuming large helpings of corned beef and cabbage. The whole city goes green including the historic fountain in Forsyth Park.
Yeah it ain’t easy being green, green with envy.Yeah, I wish I was headed to Savannah, but since I’m not, I will keep my fun and fellowship local with Mom’s b-day bash on Saturday and my Real Readers Book Club meeting on Sunday. A family and friends weekend!
And of course I party on Friday, linking with:

Hope you lovelies have a grand weekend!
