Lantern Lighting Options

May 26, 2015 by robincharmagne 8 Comments

Hello there,
Are you pretties well rested from the 3-day holiday weekend? I totally relaxed as planned, even taking a few naps, something I never do. It sure felt good though. The weather was pretty mild this weekend, perfect for outdoor dining. Relaxing outside had me thinking that you need some nice lighting for patios or decks. It has been a minute since I posted a home decor round-up so for today’s post, I handpicked some casual lantern lights to beautify your outdoor dining space.

Aren’t these cute? You can dress your table up with a blinged out option or go more rustic with the brown metal lantern. The usual spot for this type of lighting is on a table, but if you have a nice, substantial railing on your deck or even a patio, line these beauties up along the railing. You have the option of using tea-lights or pillar candles too!

Now I know what you’re thinking, lighting is nice but bright lights attract those pesky mosquitoes and other creepy critters. Don’t worry I got ya’ covered with these pretty citronella candles.

I am loving the circle lantern, in a unique design and in a darker finish. These Lantern lights are a nice addition to any outdoor decor. Do you have a fave?

More Or Less…Crystal Chandeliers

More//Less

Hello,
Lighting is critical to really every room in the house so why not go fancy with a chandelier. The chandelier used to be reserved for grand entry ways or foyers, but now they come in all shapes and sizes to fit any decor. These chandelier models are adorned in crystals and covered with sheer fabric shade and could work in a bedroom or dressing room for a very glam look. Both chandeliers are very close in size and style but differ in price tag.

Which would you try? I’m leaning towards the less, it’s pattern is more simple.

Mirrored Console – Update!

January 14, 2013 by robincharmagne 2 Comments

Hello Pretties,

Hope you all had a great weekend! It was in the 70’s here, really odd for January, but I enjoyed an early celebration dinner with my Sisters at Pappadeaux’s and had an awesome time.

Now, today’s post. Last year I posted a mirrored console table I was styling for my living room. I posted some nice images from Houzz of styles that featured table lamps. I’m sad to say, that table is still sitting naked in my living room. I think lightning will be my first accessory to add to the console. Here are some of my choices for table lamps (clockwise from the top):

v

1 – Cyan Design Bogart Lamp 2 – Possini Euro Design Helix Lamp 3 – Longacre Tall Table Lamp
4 – Stacked Glass Ball Table Lamp 5 – Grant Table Lamp 6 – Mirrored Tile Table Lamp
7 – Shinto Tripod Table Lamp 8 – Mirrored Console Table

I am drawn to the clear acrylic or wrought iron bases with a darker shade, possibly in black or chocolate brown. Which lamp would you choose?

Keep it Pretty,
robincharmagne
