One of the hottest trends for Spring 2013 is Stripes. Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing, “Stripes can be tricky”. I’ve always heard that stripes really aren’t that flattering especially in a horizontal pattern. But good news, there are ways to wear stripes that are very fashionable. These stripes have simple lines which make them easy to wear or you could just do a striped accessory such as a shoe or a handbag. Do you dare try stripes, up, down, sideways,or diagonal?

And, let’s not forget today is the first day of Lent leading up to Easter Sunday. Many believers pledge to give up something specific, like sodas, television, or profanity. Me? I’m giving up sweets, wish me luck, y’all know I love a good cookie! What are you giving up for Lent?
