Storage DIY – Home Decor

December 7, 2017 by robincharmagne 9 Comments

Season’s Greetings pretties,
It is #housesprucing time!! Getting the house ready for the Christmas tree, lights, ornaments, stockings and all things festive. I have way more Christmas decoration than the law allows and I store it all over the house, including this cabinet that is actually a television stand. But, I hate that you can see all my home decor goodies and stored decorations through the glass doors of this cabinet. So I decided to cover the doors with a wall covering from Target.

Loads of storage space

Peel and Stick wall covering from Target

Sort of a floral, yeah a floral

Easy to peel and stick

Just 3 tools

Size it

Measure it

Cut it

Remove backing and stick

Smooth out the bubbles

One side done

I like it

This project was super easy and took about 20 minutes. This wall covering is Chantilly and retails for $29.99 per roll. Devine makes wall covering in a variety of patterns and colors and it is repositionable and removable. After the holiday season, I can just peel it off and leave the glass doors clear or add another covering in a different pattern. This furniture piece will match the festive feel in the room once all the Christmas decor is finished. Now to cover the other glass door!

Have you used a removable wall covering for furniture pieces?
