Mother’s Day Gift Guide – Eloquii

Hello pretties,
Mother’s Day is this Sunday so I pulled together some cool gift ideas for Mama. Eloquii, as y’all already know, is one of my favorite plus-size retailers with sizes ranging from 14 to 28, including petite plus! It goes without saying that they sell beautiful, on-trend fashion, but did you know Eloquii also sells an entire line of accessories to include, jewelry, belts, shoes, hats, and scarfs to name a few? Accessories are like the icing on the cake, that last detail to really make an outfit pop! Take a peek at some pretty accessories for Mom!

I would buy my Mom every one of these pieces. My faves are the slides for their style and comfort and the sunglasses because you can not have too many pairs of “shades” right? The jewelry pieces are perfect for your casual or more dressed up outfits. And, belts always add polish to an outfit. And of course I added a couple of tops, could not resist. These two are fabulous and I own both of them. Snag em’ and an accessory, you will not be disappointed.

My Top 3 Faves

1 – Has to be the Lancome eyeliner pencil in Kohl. My friends know this because I have used this brand for years, only brand I use. It goes on smooth, lasts all day and sharpens nicely.
2 – If you follow my OOTDs, you already know I have a love for distressed jeans – in all colors. So fashion forward ad easy to dress up or down. I hope they never fall out of fashion.
3 – That Calvin Klein Euphoria will turn heads for real. It smells so good, subtle but sexy!!!

How was your weekend pretties? The weather in The A this weekend was absolutely fabulous, not at all December like, but it was great to leave the jackets and coats at home. I admit I am worn out, I cannot hang y’all. The weekend was jammed packed with luncheons (love my AKA), galas (did I say I love my AKA), dinner dates (another mojito please), workouts (after all this good food and libations, much needed)! The Christmas holiday is just 11 days away, yep 11. I have one more gift to buy and I am done. If you still have some gifts to buy, why not gift a travel basket for the budding traveler or the jet-setter. These are must haves to make travel easy peasy and of course, all under $25.

Father’s Day Gift Guide

Happy Monday pretties,
Let me tell you about Friday…it was nuts! At work, our systems were down until 3:00pm. Nothing to do without access to email or systems. I know there is a lesson in the technical glitches on Friday and I pray for awareness cause everythang happens for a reason! Life often teaches us lessons. That’s what Dad’s do too. My Dad taught me how to drive, change oil, change a tire, and work in the yard. Always teaching us a lesson on something because he always encouraged independence in me and my sister. I am blessed to still have him 74 years old and still a firecracker! So today I’m sharing some Father’s Day goodies. Now, I know I didn’t do a guide for Mom’s but Mom’s are always showered on Mother’s Day so I wanted to give the Dad’s some extra love. Take a peek…

I picked things that are actually my Dad’s faves. He loves everything except the aviator sunglasses and the fragrance. He is isn’t big on either of those and would never wear aviators! With a really nice album collection, he loves the record player and he is not leaving the house without a hat, preferably a Kangol. Yes my Dad wears Kangols…in 2015. I have no idea how much change he has accumulated but he will pick a coin in a second, even at my house, he picks up any coins he sees on the floor, on my dresser, any loose change is fair game. Any of these would be a nice gift on Father’s Day.

Happy Monday! The weekend here was so cold and rainy and I have a feeling that we could have a white Christmas!!! That would be very cool, or brrr cold! 15 days until Christmas lovelies and today’s gift guide is for the blogger in ya’ life! This year marks 15 months of blogger bliss and yep I still love blogging. But a blogger needs some awesome tools and I’ve included a few for your shopping pleasure! Another good gift is a trip to a blogging conference. There are so many blogger conferences to choose from, hosted in major cities around the country. Blogger conferences present first and foremost, the chance to meet other bloggers and build meaningful relationships. Second, classes to learn the basics of blogging from selecting a theme to adding social media icons to your blog and some advanced stuff as well such as branding and affiliate marketing. And of course, a chance to meet industry leaders and brands. You can find the movers and shakers in the blogging community and the big brands all under one roof. Not to mention the photo opps, parties, and swag bags! I’m still trying to decide which one to attend next year!
