OOTD #45 – Faux Leather

Hello pretties,
Can you believe this is the 45th OOTD! Woohoo! I remember being so nervous on my first OOTD but now I love playing dress up and of course it’s a reason to go shopping. Today’s OOTD is my Rocker Girl look. I paired a graphic tee, love the crown motif with faux leather details on each shoulder and leggings with the same faux leather trim. Genuine Leather can break the bank so I say go for the faux or as it’s called in some parts “vegan” leather. Save some bucks! The accessories are a silver tassel necklace(50th b-day gift!), lucite bangle, bag with chain detail and a pair cute booties. As the weather gets cooler, you can add a moto jacket to jazz up the look! I swear I must have been a rocker girl in a previous life! You can find all these goodies at Macy’s.

OOTD – #35 Distressed and Faux

Hello,
Half way to the weekend lovelies! Today I’m rocking the uniform, jeans and a cute top. The laser cut-out on this top caught my eye. Upon a closer look, I realized it was faux leather which means I can wear this in Spring and Summer. It’s on sale right now with an additional 20% off. The jeans are not quite skinnies and not quite boyfriends, but definitely distressed. Love the worn, tattered look and they are super comfy. You could roll them up a bit more for a true boyfriend jeans look. These funky wedges with leather and faux snake-skin detail from Tar-shay(yeah Target) are sky high but feel great. Finished off with some rose gold jewelry and a vintage bag. It’s great to have pieces in your wardrobe that have texture and pattern to add a little extra to a basic outfit.

OOTD #26 – More Maxi

Hey pretties,
How’s it going? We’re half way to the weekend, woohoo! Today’s OOTD is more maxi, taking the maxi skirt from summer to fall. Gray is one of my favorite neutrals that works for warmer and cooler temps! Leather is very on trend and a good transition piece for the fall. But, this jacket has just a hint of faux leather, a much more affordable option than real leather. Until it gets cooler, I’ll definitely wear this maxi more often pairing it with jackets and cardigans.
