That's so Pretty
Hi Pretties,
Today I’m sharing a quick and easy mini-DIY project. My dresser is a bit messy and not as pretty as I would like. Since forever, I’ve used a very old jewelry box to display my perfume bottles. Now, I’m not a huge perfume wearer, but my current favorite has an unusual shaped bottle and smells so delicious! I love pretty bottles and this display is in need of a makeover.

I am in love with these cuff bracelets cause I love bling. But they can be pretty pricey so I decided to do a quick cuff bracelet DIY!
This DIY was so easy and only took like 10 minutes. My version is a lil less ornate, more casual but you could certainly fill up your cuff with all kinds of bling. The possibilities are endless. I may snag a couple more of these cuffs and bling them out too!

I’m trying out a comfy, casual fall fashion trend – the embellished sweatshirt. I’m talking rhinestones, studs, and sequins. I love sparkly bling of any kind and wearing it on a sweatshirt is right up my alley. I was so stoked to find the one I’m wearing at Old Navy for $20 bucks! It’s the perfect day/night option which can be paired with boyfriend jeans for day or a cute leather skater skirt for night.

These are not your old ratty gym sweatshirts. If you’re looking for a more creative and affordable option, try a DIY. This would be an easy project, some inspiration here, here, here. I blogged about Wander and Hunt website where you can purchase complete rhinestone kits. Hmmm, I think I’m feeling inspired too, more to come on the blog. You can wear it solo or layer with a chambray shirt or turtleneck. Sweatshirts are pretty and practical and a good summer to fall transition piece too!

Ahhh Thursday, so close to Friday. I have been itching to post about Shoes of Prey, have you heard of this brand? It’s a shoe company that let’s you design your own shoe. I loved the idea, but the prices, not so much. But this year, Shoes of Prey lowered their price point(now between $129 and $209) so I thought I’d share this really unique and creative way to design your very own shoes.
1) Pick your shoe style – flats, sandals, pumps, booties, or even oxfords in a bunch of heel heights
2) Pick the details for your shoe – toe, back, heel, and decoration(bows, ruffles, and such)
3) Pick the material for your shoe – leather, suede, animal print, skins, or even calf hair
4) Viola – Your masterpiece – here are some of my “designs”
I think the concept is pretty cool, cause you know how ladies love shoes! I was totally sold when I discovered Shoes of Prey offers my favorite fabric, calf hair, in animal prints and in solids. So what do you think? Would you try it and if so, what style?

This is going to be a Terrific Tuesday right?! Today’s post is a DIY Lovers Dream, introducing Wander & Hunt, a whole new way to craft!

Hello Pretties,
Seriously counting down to the Memorial Day Weekend and fun times with family and friends. Today I’m sharing an inspired DIY project I first saw on the cool and creative blog a pair and a spare.
I thought, wow I can make those and I am always down for a DIY project! So I hurried over to JoAnn Fabric and Crafts and found some pretty rhinestones, earring backs, and jewelry adhesive and the project was on! First, I laid out the design, trying different shapes and color combos and of course decided on pink and green. Then, I glued the final design to some plastic strips I cut out of an old plastic binder. And last, I cut off the excess plastic and let the adhesive dry overnight.
I love the finished product and will be wearing them soon! Have you tried a DIY jewelry project?
