Sweet Dreams

September 10, 2013 by robincharmagne 6 Comments

Hello pretties,
I posted about a much-needed update for my bedroom. But if I’m going to shake things up, I need to consider the layout of the boudoir and how to make my nights peaceful. I found this interesting infographic about Feng Shui on Visual.ly.

How To Feng Shui Your Bedroom

Green is the major color in my bedroom so I should be having some sweet dreams as green is supposed to be calming. Yep, you need great components in the bedroom for sweet sleep – a beautiful bed, pretty linen, art, wall coverings, and accent pieces. But you also want a good night’s sleep and happiness, these tips should help. I would add one item to the Feng Shui principle, no television at all.

What’s a no-no in your bedroom? Have a terrific Tuesday lovelies!

This is so cool! I’ve never considered much of this. I wonder what a tan/gray bedroom signifies! PS> hi from Tranae’s blog! 🙂

      Hi Aunie,
Welcome! Yep it’s pretty cool and not sure about tan and gray but it sounds like those colors would make for a very soothing boudoir! Thanks for stopping by.

Love reading this. I have violated my Chi is so many ways. . . my headboard is at the window; my shoes are in boxes under my bed; I have too much yang in my bedroom of orange. . .etc. etc. I live in a townhouse and space is at a minimum so I have to fit all my stuff including my comfy chair & footstool where I read and ponder.

      Hi Neti!
I’m sending you to the corner girl! Get ya’ Feng shui life together…LOL. I feel you on the space. I have an older home and the closets are tiny so I have stuff stuffed everywhere!

Wow, so many little details! I’m going to have to re arrange my room after this. Hopefully all this advice will help with my Feng shui!
