Spring Flower Desk – DIY

Spring-flower-supplies

Hello there,
Today I’m sharing a short post on a DIY desk accessory. I love bringing you quick and easy projects that require minimal tools and that can be completed in 15 minutes or less. With Spring time upon us, it is a nice idea to bring some of the outside in and add some Springtime to your desk or workspace. Flowers are so nice to add to home decor and this one won’t wither, turn brown or die. And, you don’t even have to water it!

what you’ll need

Plastic flower
Glass vase
Filler
Small light set
Batteries
Scissors

Spring-Flower-Container

Small glass container works best

Select a filler – I used silver tinsel

Spring-Flower-Desk

Add batteries to the light kit

Add the filler on top of the light kit

I would tell you what kind of bloom this is (love calling them blooms), but I don’t know… LOL Cut the bloom down if needed. This one was pretty long so I just snipped it with the scissors so it would fit in the container. Once all the bits are assembled, just add the flower.

This project is super simple and the best part is you can change out the flowers from using a single bloom to adding several to create a pretty bouquet.

Are you bringing Springtime in or leaving outside with the pollen?
