How was the weekend? Mine was busy but good! I had an opportunity to tour a beautiful show house in Serenbe. Serenbe is a community outside of Atlanta that features a town center, boutique shopping, art galleries, restaurants, an organic farm, and yes some beautiful homes. HGTV built the 2013 Green home in Serenbe. This house was amazing, from the English inspired exterior to the 3 floors decorated by some of the finest interior designers. This post is pic heavy, enjoy!
This is quite the show house in a nice neutral palette. While the home is over 4000 square feet, it felt very cozy and perfect for entertaining. Asking price? 1.2 million. Yes that requires a fat check book, but the inspiration from these homes is free. You can take a few design ideas and adapt them to your own home decor, and for a whole lot less. For example, just about every room in the show house had stacks of coffee table books. You can snag reasonably priced books at yard sales, Goodwill, or the clearance rack at your local book seller. An inexpensive way to decorate a table or a shelf.
Do you visit show houses or dream homes?
Thanks for including the link. Hubby and I love these kind of adventures. The pictures are beautiful.
It’s a really cute place, great for a relaxing weekend. I forgot to mention you can stay in the community as well, at the Inn. Let me know if you visit! Have a great day!
Great photos and looks like you had fun without taking out your checkbook. I used to love open houses and now I just watch HGTV every night for inspiration. Enjoy your week!
Yes so much inspiration! Totally HGTV addicted! Have a good evening!
