More Or Less…Ghost Chairs

More OR Less

Hey pretties,
Today’s More Or Less features my favorite chair – The Ghost Chair, very popular in home decor. The Ghost Chair design was created by Phillipe Starck, one of the first designers to use clear polycarbonate in furniture design.Kartell sells a huge variety of polycarbonate chairs in different styles, colors and price points. I think the Ghost Chair is the perfect accent piece that coordinates with any decor since it has no color, pattern, or texture. But, if you need some inspiration, Houzz to the rescue.

Eclectic Kids by Franklin Lakes Interior Designers & Decorators Sheree Goodman Design, Inc.- Allied ASID
Traditional Kitchen by Burlington Interior Designers & Decorators Regina Sturrock Design Inc.
Eclectic Family Room by Athens Photographers Corynne Pless

The styling in the last photo is my favorite. I’m so in love with the Ghost Chair and of course I would snag the Less version, you really can’t tell the difference. The Less version is a good way to add a high end designer piece to your home decor without breaking the bank.

What do you think about this classic furniture style? Would you buy a Ghost Chair?

I love the ghost chair but even at $315 it’s still a bit pricy for me. I am hoping to luck out and find a cheaper one OR hoping that if I wait long enough it will go on sale!

      Hi Marissa,
Agreed! I’m looking for an even better less version. I would like to pay $300 or less for two! Have a good day!

You know, I’ve never really given these chairs much thought. I think I’d consider owning one or more if I lived in a modern spacious home. My house now is small, a bit cluttered, and an old craftsman so I don’t see a ghost chair in this kind of space. They do look clean and classy though. And they don’t take away from the view. They sure are expensive!

      Hi Joni,
Yep both versions were really more than I would pay for one chair. Hoping to find a cheaper version! Have a good afternoon!

The only difference in the two is the price and all I can do is admire them from afar. They just don’t fit my skinny budget.

      Hi Neti,
Yep pretty but pricey. Looking for a “an even lesser” version! Have a good night!
