Let’s Go…Staycation At The Hyatt

Hello there,

Today is my Friday and I’m doing the happy dance, but more about that in a sec! A couple of weeks back I took a mini-staycation! I realized that there were only 60 days left in 2014 and I needed to start planning plan for 2015. So I packed a weekender and headed to a new hotel in an Atlanta suburb – Hyatt Perimeter Center at Villa Christina. I’ve mentioned before I’m somewhat of a hotel snob so when I read this was a new boutique style hotel, I was excited.

The hotel ride was less than an hour from home, so even with rush hour traffic, I was there in a snap. Parking was free all weekend-nice perk! I snagged a spot and headed up to the lobby. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I stepped off the elevator – there were beautiful, silk floor to ceiling drapes flanking the hallway – oh I’m liking this place all ready. At the front desk were two cuties who welcomed me with big smiles. Check-in was a breeze since I did it on-line, they just handed me my room key. I would describe the lobby area as modern elegance. Not too over the top but well dressed.

My room was sleek and nicely appointed with all the modern amenities. Nice big bed where I slept like a baby. The room also had a nice Reading Nook near the window and a good size desk on the opposite wall. The bath was a just right with a huge shower and right outside the bath was the Coffee Nook stocked with coffee and tea.

After a nice long shower, I wrapped up in this soft robe and began making 2015 grand!

At Hyatt Perimeter Center at Villa Christina, you’ll find southern hospitality in a luxury setting. The 177 room property offers a rooftop pool, three dining options, including the hugely popular Villa Christina, business center, 24-hour fitness center, spa services, wi-fi, and is just a block from one of Atlanta’s premier dining and shopping areas. Oh, one more thing – I had room service all weekend and it was delish! If you’re in The A and want a grand stay in one of The A’s most posh areas, check out this pretty spot!

Where do you staycation in your town?

I’m off on a mini-vacay tomorrow but I’ll be back Monday with all the deets! Have a Fantastic Friday and a Wonderful Weekend!
