Hello,
You’re ready to start planning your vacation but don’t know where to start? Here’s five good travel planning tips to get you started on that dream vacation!
travel tips, travel planning, top 5 travel planning tips

Travel planning really isn’t hard at all, but I will say you have to be organized. Get yourself a cute travel planner to jot down notes about your chosen destination. A planner makes planning easier by keeping all your travel deets in one spot. Yes there’s an app for travel planning too! TripIt
is a cool electronic travel planner if you’re not old school like me. A word on travel agents – yes they still exist and can be very helpful in travel planning if you’re not one to be “in the weeds”. I love surfing the web but have used an agent. Travel planning DIY style gives you a chance to really learn about the city or country you want to visit.

I’d love to add to these 5 tips – what are your go-to travel planning tips?

Good post! If you are booking a group you need a Travel agent to navigate the different gateways. Also, a reputable TA can help with a payment plan and lower deposits.

Hi Neti, good point! I’ve found them to be very helpful! I’ll have to include a post about group travel! Thanks for sharing!

I love this! Every single tip is extremely valid. I like to consult a friend of mine who is a travel agent on “deals” I find. Most are willing to tell people if it is a good deal or not as it will keep people coming back!

Yes friends are great sources for researching your designation. Have a great weekend!
