Lemon Love — Faves On Friday

Happy Good Friday!
Lemons, lemons, and more lemons. I have a confession…I can go overboard or should I say enthusiastically love pretty things. There I said it! Once I find things I like, it is on and popping. For Springtime, I am stuck on lemons and will be adding this bright and sunny motif to my living spaces. It is so fresh and clean, this yellow is just the right amount of sunshine to make a room pop. Take a peek at the pretty things I curated for today’s Faves on Friday…

Perfect addition to my ivy green and chocolate brown color scheme. You can highlight your unique personality by adding accessories, which are the icing of a room. I love a theme based room, not too kitschy but just enough to add interest and whimsy. Yeah I like whimsy and the unexpected. An easy, subtle way to use a theme is in art work. Place a themed picture with some other grouping of art or make it the star of the room. Another good way is through some form of greenery that incorporates the theme. Sadly, I do not have a green thumb or other green body part so a good artificial flower or silk plant works for me. I’m off today pretties, so I can’t wait to hit some of my favorite home decor stores, HomeGoods and Tuesday Morning, for my Springtime decorating.

Are you decorating for Spring? Have a lovely Easter!

They look marvelous, the collection. I especially loved the Minted cards. You’re absolutely right, they would lighten up a room. We have a lemon tree out back and l love just putting a bowl out.

I was just on Minted looking at invites for my Niece’s upcoming christening party for her two babies, and the lemons are so crisp and clean. I can’t wait to see what you got for your casa. Enjoy your weekend my dear.

I too love springtime and color and I definitely want to brighten up my home and transition from the dark fall/winter colors. I love the idea of sprucing up your life with lemons. If I had to choose a fruit, I might go with tangerines or green apples!

Yellow is my second favorite color and I love it. In my mind I’m decorating for Spring but that hasn’t translated into my actual home. We need to do a good spring cleaning first.

    Love your ideas.
