Happy New Year Pretties,
I hope everyone was able to take some time off during the holiday season to rest your mind and your body. It is another year and I am ready to begin anew. I have picked a word of the year before, read about last year’s word here. I chose intentional because I want to achieve some specific goals that require laser focus. So I need to take actionable steps that will lead to the fulfillment of these goals.
Three Ways to Live Intentionally
1 – Make a plan, write it down. You cannot be intentional on nothingness – so decide what it is you want and put it to paper.
2 – Be flexible. Let’s face it, life happens but we have to stay focused on our goals. When an obstacle surfaces, be flexible enough to re-route so you remain intentional.
3 – Give it time. Moving in an intentional manner takes time. Do not get impatient and take an action that isn’t intentional because you want to meet a deadline of some sort. Stop and regroup but still keep your intentional mindset.
I am ready to excel in 2017, lots of new things planned, including celebrating a big blog anniversary.
Do you have a word for 2017? Do share!!

Happy New Year!!! That’s a great word. Instead of resolutions or goals this year I have intentions. One of which is to enjoy every day ☺

Good choice of words for 2017 if I had to choose mine would be Patience. Sometimes in life we need to remind ourselves how to stay calm in certain situations.

Patience with positivity. I need to slow down and take it one day at a time and not try to do it all quickly because it’s frustrating.
Happy New Year New You sis!

Great word. I love that you pointed out how living withintention doesn’t mean being inflexible – just the opposite! Happy 2017 Robin!

Happy New Year Girl!!! My word, well words is Believe in Myself. Last year at the beginning of the year I kept doubting myself thinking that blogging full-time would not work for me and I would fail. My anxiety was getting really bad, but I kept reminding myself that I’ve come a long way, and continue to keep pursuing my dreams.
2017 will be your year girl! OWN IT!!!
