Hello pretties,
My how things can change! I am going to cut straight to the chase – COVID-19 is significantly impacting our daily lives, with some of you now working from home sweet home. This has been my work situation for 15 years and I have learned a few things along the way that I am sharing with y’all today! Here are five tips for working at home…
Tip #1
If you do not already have a home office, setup a place for your computer – tabletop/desktop, good chair, and maybe a printer. Also, grab your supplies – notebook, folders, pen, highlighter, sticky notes, paperclips and a stapler.

Tip #2
Get ready for the day by getting dressed. It’s tempting to work all day in cute pajamas, but you will more professional and productive when you are dressed. Jeans, cargo pants, or leggings and a cute top is a good choice.
Tip #3
Keep your morning routine. If you meditate, pray, or journal each morning, continue to do so to get your mind right for working. If you take a walk or do yoga or other physical activity, continue with that routine as well, you will be invigorated to start your work day!
Tip #4
Take a real lunch break away from your workspace. Try packing a hearty and healthy lunch the night before in a cute bento box. Do not get in the trap of working all day without eating. You will feel refreshed after eating and socializing with family or friends.
Tip #5
Define your work hours. This is so important because if you do not have established”office hours”, you will be tempted to answer emails all night. End your day at a reasonable hour and get back to living life. After all, tomorrow is another day!
These are just a few things to consider if you are joining the telecommuting world. It is not a bad situation and in some instances, you will get a lot more tasks accomplished throughout the day.
Are you working at home? How’s it going?

Great tips my Dear especially #5. Years ago when I worked from home I ended the day when the project was completed. I did not respect the time.
Yes I have looked up and it’s 10 o’clock at night, still working.
These are great tips, Robin. Hubby has been working from home for almost a year now. I am just so happy some of us are able to work from home.
