DIY – Perfume Tray

September 16, 2014 by robincharmagne 12 Comments

Hi Pretties,

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy mini-DIY project. My dresser is a bit messy and not as pretty as I would like. Since forever, I’ve used a very old jewelry box to display my perfume bottles. Now, I’m not a huge perfume wearer, but my current favorite has an unusual shaped bottle and smells so delicious! I love pretty bottles and this display is in need of a makeover.

Time to jazz up my perfume bottles and give away some trinkets

For this project, I purchased a plain acrylic tray from the Container Store for about $12 bucks and a peel and stick vinyl decal from Kirkland’s that was buy 1 get 1 free making it $1.50. And of course, my collection of pretty perfume bottles!

The decal came in 5 parts – the initial and 4 decorative flourishes

I arranged the perfume bottles on the tray by height and added some trinket trays to hold roller balls(perfume on the go) and dainty earrings and rings.

I really loved how the perfume tray came out and it took like 5 minutes! For under $15, the dresser looks a lot prettier with the perfume bottles beautifully displayed. Love an easy DIY!

Tried any DIYs lately, do share!

I’ll take a sprig of that Eau de perfume and another from. . . The tray looks elegant and your collection is every girl wants. I have not any DIY lately so I needed some inspiration. Thanks!

I think I loved it better when it was messy:-) Seriously though, what a difference! Now you have more room.

I love this DIY tray, I have several glass ones from my grandmother and I also use saucers for my rings.

What a great idea. I’m not much of DIY type person…not very creative in that way I think! I’m having a little give away over on my blog if you are interested in having a look.
