Seriously counting down to the Memorial Day Weekend and fun times with family and friends. Today I’m sharing an inspired DIY project I first saw on the cool and creative blog a pair and a spare.
I thought, wow I can make those and I am always down for a DIY project! So I hurried over to JoAnn Fabric and Crafts and found some pretty rhinestones, earring backs, and jewelry adhesive and the project was on! First, I laid out the design, trying different shapes and color combos and of course decided on pink and green. Then, I glued the final design to some plastic strips I cut out of an old plastic binder. And last, I cut off the excess plastic and let the adhesive dry overnight.
I love the finished product and will be wearing them soon! Have you tried a DIY jewelry project?
And pretties, enter to win a pretty necklace and earring set from Kenye over at Glow Kouture Style. Her online boutique Bella Ruche Boutique is full of fun, fashionable and affordable pieces. Check it out and enter below!

Keep it Pretty,
Hi Robin! Thanks a bunch for visiting my blog. 🙂 I love your blog sweetie. It’s so refreshing to meet someone so down to earth who loves fashion. I really like your blog & plan on following you here & on twitter. Oh! And I love your DIY ear rings. I’ve haven’t tried that style before. Thanks for the inspiration dear.
Awww, thank you, how sweet of you! I do like my fashion and a good DIY! Thanks for stopping by!
Those earrings are fab! You should sell them on Etsy for folks like me who are too lazy to DIY.
Thank you chica! I had soooo much fun making them. I love me some bling! Thanks for the suggestion!
