Cruise Style – OOTD #63

Hey there,
The week is humming right along, getting it all done. So we’re still talking cruising this week and today I’m sharing my cruising style. You don’t need a whole wardrobe for a cruise, just a few key pieces that are cute and comfy! These three styles are for casual, day, and night but could be interchangeable for sure.

Casual Look

The casual look is perfect for a day of sightseeing. The tank is made of a breathable flowy fabric to keep you cool. The shorts are made of a stretch denim making them very comfortable for lots of walking.

Day Look

This look is perfect for sea days on the ship. The fabric is so vacay appropriate in a floral and again a breathable fabric. I chose a two piece because I wanted the option of interchanging the top and the bottom, but you can duplicate this look with a jumpsuit in a fun fabric. Get ready to hit the casino, view the art gallery, or just veg-out on the Lido deck in this relaxed look.

Night Look

This maxi was my most favorite cruise style. It is super sexy with the deep v-neckline and gold chain detail on the back. I hate I didn’t snap a pic of the back of the dress. For the most comfort get a breathable fabric, this is a poly blend. The oversized ruffles add some interest without adding weight to the dress. Rock this for night-time activities such as a dinner, a show, or an outdoor movie.

Cruise style is a “breeze” with just 4 or 5 easy pieces – tank, shorts, jumpsuit/floral tank-pants, and a maxi. Enough for sightseeing, chillaxin and dinner.

What’s your vacation style? Do you buy a whole new wardrobe or use what you have?

    Awesome cruise look ideas!!
I haven’t been on a cruise, but when I take a vacay, I tend to use what I have and maybe pick up a piece or two more… I went to Annapolis with my BF over the weekend and I decided I wanted a smaller purse, so I got a strappy shoulder bag instead of bringing my bigger, regular purse.

I love all your outfits and you look beautiful in your maxi. I do have a vacation closet and vacay with my famgroup every year, so most of my items have to multitask. Looks like your cruise was just what you needed and the memories should last til next spring. . .

I currently have cruise on the brain. I adore them and look forward to my next. Such a perfect vacation for families. I kept my looks super casual too, with just a couple of night life looks. You look perfect and you’re making me want to call Carnival at this very moment!
