How goes it just 3 days before the first day of summer? Are you ready? I am because summer brings two things – vacation and my birthday! Now summer is hot and really hot here in The A, but chiffon is a great summer fabric that will keep you cool on those sweltering days. Check out today’s OOTD in chiffon!
This is one of my go-to looks, that uniform of jeans and a cute top! It works every time and with this heat, you need a good fabric that breathes. The colors in this poncho are vibrant but subtle. I paired it with my old faithful boot-cut jeans that are super flattering for curvy girls. The accessories are minimal, orange statement necklace, silver bracelet, satchel, easy pumps.

You’ll see a lot of chiffon in evening wear, but you’ll also find it used a lot of for casual tops and dresses. It drapes well, skimming the body, not body hugging, again flattering for curvier girls. Ponchos are a good look too as they hide heavier arms or the weight we carry in the tummy area. It’s packable too, so I think this one is going on vacay with me!!
