Change Is Necessary – OOTD #93

Hello pretties,
Change is necessary. Real talk, the last 3 months have been otherworldly. The emotions and questions are a part of my daily routine, weighing heavy on my heart. All this loss, a new normal I am finding hard to stomach. Something has to give…something has to change. My niece said, “Tee-tee, cut your hair!” And that is exactly what I did, take a peek…

Anger – Denial

What? My Sister and my Daddy? Naw man, that ain’t right. I’m so mad…how are we to live without them?

Bargaining – Depression

I’ll be good, I promise…I’m so sad

Acceptance

In Your loving care…I will see them again

Yeah something had to give. Getting rid of the heaviness – the weight of grief, in a single hair cut. Oh the lightness of having less hair, it actually feels wonderful. Change is good and necessary. I feel ready to move forward with a lighter heart. I am blessed to be here for my family and for that I am grateful.

Stripes 3.0 – OOTD

This look is my “uniform” works every time – flowy top, boot-cut jeans, black heels. Sooo these off the shoulder tops though, in love – clearly. What am I going to wear this Fall/Winter?? LOL

What do you do when you are ready for a change?

I can’t imagine how rough these last three months have been for you and your family. But I’m glad that you are starting to feel some acceptance and hopefully some peace.

I love your new haircut. It looks really good on you.

I can’t begin to imagine what the last few months have been. Please know you and your family have been in my prayers. We all deal with our grief differently. And if cutting your hair makes you feel as if some of that heaviness has been lifted from you, it was absolutely the right thing to do. Plus – it looks great!!
