Guest Post – Get Your Pretty On
Hello Pretties,
This blogger bud has style for days, meet Alison over at Get Your Pretty On, with a blog title like that, I knew I would like this fashionista!
I started my blog in September of last year, mainly for accountability. After working from home for a couple of years, I wasn’t getting out of my yoga pants most days. By posting outfit pictures on the blog, I felt like I had to get dressed. I started joining link parties and things took off from there.
Dove dark chocolate with almonds. I eat it every. single. day. YUM!
The Cozi calendar app. I don’t know what I’d do without it. It’s awesome for keeping track of my kids’ busy schedules!
Ha! I’m embarrassed to say, but here goes: Duck Dynasty, Dance Moms, Swamp People, Storage Hunters, Cake Boss…quality entertainment.
A bright coral with some hints of sparkle.
Definitely the beach and we’re heading there in a few days!

OOTD #19 – Everyday Inspiration

It’s Wednesday y’all, 2 down, 2 to go and 3 more days until my b-day LOL! I’m back with another outfit of the day! This outfit was inspired by a very popular blogger “J” from J’s Everyday Fashion.

This was one of the easiest outfits to pull together which is why I visit J’s blog often, easy wearable fashion. Y’all already know about my obsession with tunics and the pants were an easy way to try the tribal trend and of course black/white is on trend as well. This would make a great vacay outfit too! Easy breezy.

How to make space for more clothes
Hello pretties,
Did you have a great weekend? Mine was fairly quiet, but this week is going to be super hectic. A lot to get done by Friday as I count down to b-day and vacay! Big focus this weekend was organization!! Like a lot of ladies, I have a ton of stuff, especially clothes. My house is older and just doesn’t have enough storage, yeah I know I could stop shopping LOL. So when I saw these space bags for under $5 bucks, I thought why not give them a try!
Jumbo bag

Just add air
Flat and ready to store
At first I thought the jumbo size space bag was too big, but I was able to clean out three big drawers of t-shirts and other clothes I don’t wear very often. These bags are waterproof and airtight to keep your items well preserved. And when I’m ready, easy to re-open, just open the air valve and roll out the air. Once flattened, the space bag fit right under my bed, perfect storage space.
I’ll definitely use more of these in different sizes. You can find them at many of the discount stores such as Ross, Marshalls and T.J. Maxx. I found these at a new retail chain dd’s Discounts, a spin-off of Ross stores.

Friday Faves Fourteen
Hello pretty peeps,
It’s Friday and it has been a great week. Work was busy but manageable, Mom on the mend, great times with friends, and of course, you all my lovely readers make life sweet. Today is Friday Faves, but since I have been all smiles this week, thought I’d keep the joy going. They say laughter is the best medicine(I don’t know who they is, but I agree). I’m sure y’all have seen the somee cards all over the Internet, which are hilarious. Here are my few faves and my pick from the legendary Bobby McFerrin.
I hope you are experiencing crazy bouts of laughter right now. For real some days, if you watch the news, you’d run and hide under the bed. But everyday you wake up is another chance to enjoy this life. Take it, love it, live it! I hope you find some laughter in your life this weekend. I’m cleaning, blogging, shopping, and dining, and having as much laughter as I can in between. See ya’ Monday.

OOTD #9 – Black and White
Hi pretties,
We’re in the middle, woohoo! I can see the weekend! Another outfit today. The camera gods were feeling “some kind of a way”so here I go. Awhile back I posted about the most popular black and white trend here. I’m dressing it up and down in today’s outfit of the day!
The black and white combo is extremely versatile in stripes, polka dots, or prints. Try it with a pop of color say a red, electric blue, fuchsia or yellow! I don’t normally go sleeveless but I really liked the print and silky fabric! And y’all already know I live in jeans, so the tee and jeans is my regular uniform!

OOTD #3 -Sequins
Hello pretties,
Midweek and I’ve been super busy at work, so I’m definitely looking forward to the weekend. But two more days to go. My 3rd OOTD, still on the catwalk.

The draping effect of the tunic makes it fitted to give some shape but not too tight. This is a casual look with just a dash of diva with the sequins on each shoulder, perfect for day or night. What girly girl doesn’t like sequins??
