That's so Pretty

Hello pretties,
It’s that time of the year where we celebrate Love. Yes, Valentine’s Day is next Sunday? Do you have a favorite frock all picked out? I know lots of divas opt to wear red on this day, but I lean toward black instead. Black is sexy, mysterious, and of course slenderizes so it is almost always a good choice. I hand-picked some dresses in a variety of fabrics, silhouettes, sizes and price points for this sexy day. Take a peek…

Season’s Greetings!
It’s Christmas week! Are y’all as excited as I am? I hope y’all are full of holiday joy and happiness. Are you done with Christmas shopping? I am finished but in case you are not and need some ideas, I have one more gift guide to share – for home decor. These are some fun and useful goodies for any abode and of course all under $25 bucks.
With most holiday shopping, our focus is on a single person, but home decor items make great gifts for the entire family. Something everyone can use and enjoy. I need one of everything in this guide, but the cellphone sanitizer, that is a must! Who knew? If you are still in need of some fabulous gifts, be sure to checkout 25 Jewelry Gifts Under $25 and 25 Travel Gifts Under $25. You are bound to find something special for a friend or a loved one.

Season’s Greetings,
How was your weekend pretties? The weather in The A this weekend was absolutely fabulous, not at all December like, but it was great to leave the jackets and coats at home. I admit I am worn out, I cannot hang y’all. The weekend was jammed packed with luncheons (love my AKA), galas (did I say I love my AKA), dinner dates (another mojito please), workouts (after all this good food and libations, much needed)! The Christmas holiday is just 11 days away, yep 11. I have one more gift to buy and I am done. If you still have some gifts to buy, why not gift a travel basket for the budding traveler or the jet-setter. These are must haves to make travel easy peasy and of course, all under $25.

Hi Pretties,
It feels like I have been away from the blog, so I’m happy to be back! I did take a quick road trip to Charlotte over the weekend which was fabulous I might add, more to come later this week! Of course y’all already know, no trip for me is complete without getting in some shopping! I snagged some really cute jewelry pieces which inspired me to bring you today’s holiday gift guide featuring some pretty baubles all under $25 and I included a jewelry box too! Take a peek!
Jewelry is always a good gift because the choices are absolutely endless. You can find a pretty piece that is bold and ornate or something simple, yet chic. You can choose gold, silver, rose gold, leather, pearls, or gemstones! There’s earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, brooches, or watches.

Hey there,
I don’t know about you lovely readers, but Halloween has never been on the top of my list for celebrations. This might sound mean but for the last 15 years, I have never given out one morsel of candy on Halloween. My porch light is off and I chill for the night. So if you’re like me and you ain’t feeling Halloween, here are five fun alternatives.
1 – Turn your tricks into treats. Assemble a bag of treats and deliver to your neighbors or family members. And the treats don’t have to be Halloween themed. How about a cold weather kit with an ice scraper, flash light, energy bar, cold weather tech gloves, cough drops, etc.
2 – Pumpkins are for more than lattes and pies. Host a Pumpkin Decorating party. This activity works for everyone in the family as pumpkins come in all sizes. Lots of things to use for decorating including paint, markers, paper, stencil or glitter
3 – Don’t want to venture out? Stay in and chill watching family oriented movies. One of my all-time favorites is the The Good Witch on The Hallmark Channel. These movies convey so many positive messages for kids and adults alike. Start from the beginning and catch all 7 movies
4 – With Thanksgiving right around the corner, spend the evening decorating your home for the Fall season or the Thanksgiving holiday. This activity is another good one for the whole family. You will have weeks to enjoy before it is time to start Christmas decorating
5 – If your kids must have some treats and want to dress-up, take advantage of events hosted by your local mall. The kids can still get their sweet tooth soothed and maybe you can snag a cute must have like a plaid shirt or quilted vest.
Halloween night doesn’t have to be a complete bummer. Enjoy it and maybe start some new family traditions!
What are you doing for Halloween?
