OOTD #14 – Minty Fresh

Hello pretties,
It’s going to be a scorcher today in “Hotlanta“. Even though I’m born under a sun sign, Leo, I am not a fan of hot weather. Give me a nice 78 degree day and I’m good. Today’s OOTD is all about questions – you know, when you buy something and have no idea what you will do/wear/use it for? Yeah, that’s the minty clutch.

I got the minty clutch because I loved the color but had nothing to go with it. Then, mysteriously I got the necklace, a perfect match and of course minty green definitely goes with pink.

Hello Pretties,
I hope Tuesday finds you in a good mood and ready for a good day! I have to tell you this is a late post, but May would not be complete if I didn’t share my May Cara box! Festivals and Fashion

Hello pretties,
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! It’s June pretty ones! Half the year is almost gone, yet the beginning of summer break, vacations, cook outs, and festivals! Festivals are one of my favorite warm weather fun times and one of the best in The A is the Virginia-Highland Summerfest. Virginia-Highland is one of Atlanta’s most historic neighborhoods dating back to 1905.

The Summerfest had a juried Artist Market, 5k Race, live music, and of course good food and libations! OK, so what do you wear to a festival you ask, when it’s hot and humid outside? Here’s a pretty pick!

6 Feet Tall In My Head!

Hello Pretties,
Guess what? It’s Thursday, pre-weekend, yeah! My week really is going better than expected, busy but manageable. These short weeks can be a blessing and a curse, hey I’m feeling blessed.

I admit I’m not a shoe girl, but I love wedge heels. Being 5 feet tall exactly, the wedge heel gives me the height Mother Nature didn’t(she gave me beautiful brown eyes instead, I ain’t complaining). A wedge heel is also super comfy, so I can go from day to night with ease. Here are some of my faves from Macy’s!

Yep, some oldies, but goodies! One of my new favorite spots in The A is CineBistro, a luxury movie house. Very cool spot with fabulous seating- huge leather chairs, serious dining choices- all prepared by a Chef with an extensive wine and cocktail list, and all the top movies.

I could catch a flick every week, and based on the previews of the upcoming summer movie season, I very well may do that!

OOTD #11 – Cold Shoulder Maxi with Bling

Hi pretties,
I’m working half a day today to attend my baby niece’s graduation from Pre-K, Go Corryn! It’s OOTD #11 and guess who has on a dress, that’s right me, no jeans today!

Now the fan! I bought the fan at my sorority’s regional conference. I’m an ATL native so I love all the craziness that is the RHOA especially Miss USA Kenya Moore with her Gone With the Wind Fabulous attitude and the infamous fan. This dress had me twirling around like Kenya…LOL!
