I am not sure what to expect but I have heard Candytopia is colorful, interactive and Instagrammable! Oh and made of candy, yes you read that right candy. I will have a full review after the sneak peek, but until then, here is more on the installations and how to get tickets…

Bible Journaling

Joanne Fink and Regina Yoder, the creators of Complete Guide to Bible Journaling: Creative Techniques to Express Your Faith, have created a beautiful guide for documenting our thoughts on faith. It’s another way to further think about a particular scripture, parable, religious figure – digging deeper if you will. To get you started, there are prompts – checkout page 9. You can use a variety tools; for example, washi tape, stickers, die-cuts, watercolor paints, hand lettering, etc. And, there is no wrong or right in bible journaling. But if that wasn’t enough, there is a gallery of real life examples of bible journaling for inspiration. The bonus goodies in the back are amazing – vellum for tracing designs, stickers, tabs, and much more.

This guide is the perfect tool to start bible journaling, with vibrant illustrations and lots of extras! I love this guide so much, I have one to gift to a lucky reader. Hop on over to my Instagram for all the deets.

Do you journal?

P.S. This is a great Mother’s Day gift!

Gold Foil DIY Prints

November 19, 2015 by robincharmagne

Hello there,
Hope everyone is doing great! Have you started Christmas shopping yet? I have started but I am nowhere near finished. I was thinking about gifts for my sister/friend circle and I wanted to do something a little different. Gold foil is all the rage in home decor, stationary and office so I thought it would be fun to make some custom prints. Turns out, it is super easy and doesn’t require a bunch of stuff. Sorry for the slow load, pic heavy! Take a peek!

In Black And White

Hello there,
Thank y’all for the support on Friday. It’s never easy to put your feelings on blast but truth is a good thing and can help other folks too. I hope your weekend was lots of fun and yes I had my mojito, coming soon a tasty recipe. Now on to today’s post. One trend that never goes out of style is black and white. Every year this perfect color combo is the go to trend and 2014 is no different. Of course you can wear it together or you can wear two different black and prints to really make it interesting. If you’re still shy about it, try your black/white in an accessory – handbags, shoes, or jewelry. Still on the fence, bring black/white into your home decor – my fave in the collage above is the white flowers in the black vase – easy peasy. I am clearly a fan of black/white – see it here and here.

Are you rocking black and white in your fashion or home decor?

The Art

Hello,
After the snow and ice from the past two weeks, I went gaga over these bags. It’s Burberry in bloom screaming springtime. These bags are adorned with flowers beautifully hand-painted on leather. Yesss! I paired each bag with a pretty piece of art because fashion and art go hand in hand. Here’s the frosting on the cupcake – Burberry will personalize this bag not only with your initials but a Burberry nameplate with your name.
nameplate
Awesome sauce!!! Now luxury like this ain’t cheap at a $3000+ price point and a couple of bags at, wait for it… $37,000+. Yeah that’s a boatload of cash. If I win the Powerball tonight, I’ll definitely own a hand-painted Burberry bag in bloom with my own initials and nameplate!

What do you think about this collection?

Keep it Pretty,
