Hope your day is going well. The Internet is a little wonkie this morning, going up and down sporadically, so I jumped on while it is still up and running. Home Decor is another love along with fashion and travel, so I’m devoting Tuesdays to home decor, bringing you lots of tips and trends for your abode! Today I’ve curated some pillow choices that are an easy, inexpensive or expensive, way to accent the look of a room. A pillow can perfectly match your decor or reflect your personality. Like cycling, add a bike pillow. You’re an 80’s baby, how about a boombox pillow. Or if you love monogramming like I do, try an initial pillow with a pretty border. The range of possibilities is endless and will work in any decor. My favorite is #11, the chandelier, which can be a very formal or laid back motif.

I had to do it! Yes besides Scandal, The Walking Dead, and The Good Wife, I manage to watch some ratchet tv as well. Of course my favorite Real Housewives franchise is Atlanta. Miss Kenya Moore getting her twirl on, too much! Well there’s nothing rachet about ModCloth.

Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks! I had a blast watching the game with some good friends, but I think we ate more than we watched the game. And I have to say it, the million dollar Superbowl commercials really sucked this year, not one was a standout. Bravo to Bruno Mars though, he rocked it!
It’s been a year since my last What’s in my Bag so I’m sharing my latest with you lovelies today. This time around the talented artist Adjanys sketched all the mess in my bag.
My Mess:
Satchel – I love my Dooney & Bourke Retro Embossed Safari Crossbody
Notebook – Of course it has my initial from Poppin. Perfect size for a crossbody bag.
Sun-glass Case – Holds my eyeglasses and sunglasses.
Pen – I need something to jot down notes, this sleek Cross Stylist Ball Pen 
Cell Phone – I’m in love with my Samsung Galaxy III, that is all!
Lip Balm – I know folks love eos, but it isn’t the best chap stick,IJS! I love the pink package though.
Mints – Just in case I meet “the one”, I’ll be minty fresh, at least for 3 hours with BreathSavers 3-Hour Mints
Keys – Your keys might as well have a stylish home, a classic Tiffany and Co. keyring.
Card Case – A card case is a great alternative to a wallet.
Checkbook – I write checks on occasion, this cover is so ratty and my alma mater doesn’t carry it anymore, bummer.
Charger – A portable charger is an essential and this one works with all your electronics, checkout a pretty and practical option here.
Coin Purse – No more loose change all over my bag, thanks to this cute accessory from Coach.
Hand cream – This hand cream works wonders! Smooth, none greasy application with SPF 25.

Oh gosh, what a week we’ve had in The A. But y’all know regardless of what happens, Atlantans will Rise Up! This year’s Pantone Color of the Year is Radiant Orchard, a beautiful shade in the purple family. This color is very versatile with so many variations from soft pastel purple to a deep orchid. Perfect for any skin tone. My interpretation leans toward the lighter end of the spectrum, the pastel side. Scanning the closet, not too much purpley (yep made up word) if any, things in my wardrobe. Two color options to experiment with, pairing it with red for the Winter and pink for the Spring. And, it’s not limited to fashion, sprinkle this color in your home decor and beauty too!! I am enamored with Radiant Orchid! It’s one of those colors that can be very feminine but super strong too in deeper tones, endless options. If you just want to dip your toe in Radiant Orchid, try it in an accessory, like shoes or earrings.

Happy Day Before New Year’s Eve Pretties,
How was your Christmas? Grand I hope. Just popping in to share some outfit ideas for the NYE Party Girl. I usually stay in during NYE but I know some of my pretty party girls will be hitting the town. A jacket and skirt combo is a nice alternative to a cocktail dress. You can add a lace cami under all three options and be ready for a comfy night of NYE Party Girl revelry. This is an awesome(I say awesome a lot) but it is awesome! Now don’t get me wrong not knocking, “inspired” “knock-off” “fake” or whatever you want to call it. But because some of you lucky girls will give or will receive designer goods for Christmas this infographic covers everything from the logo, buttons and zippers to the fabric and even pricing.
