Pretties, was the weekend all kinds of fabulous? My weekend was quiet, just chillaxin around the house, a lot of tv watching and a lil shopping – of course. I saw some really cute jewelry pieces but I didn’t buy anything. I have been anticipating getting something good in the mail. So, I was thrilled when I got home and found a sweet pink box from Cate & Chloe.

Cate & Chloe, a jewelry subscription service, sent me this VIP jewelry box to review. Every box contains two pieces of jewelry and a bonus gift too! Isn’t that nice. Take a peek…

The review

I like this box. The jewelry is good quality and well made. The base metals are either gold or silver plated and accented with CZ or a gemstone. Let’s start with the earrings. The earrings are in a gold tone metal with the CZ accent. Very cute and I love a dangly earring, but the style is a little too small for my taste. I lean toward a bigger, more bold earring, but they would be cute for a night out.

Now, my favorite piece is the long necklace in gold tone metal with a very delicate gemstone accent in a pretty minty color. This necklace is 20 inches long which makes it a perfect layering piece. I could easily see pairing this with two more long gold necklaces for a modern look.

The last piece is the bonus, the silver tone cuff ring. The intricate pattern in this ring make it a standout and the fact that it is a cuff means you can adjust it and wear on different fingers.

Overall, I give this jewelry subscription three crowns! I didn’t pick these pieces but I thought the stylists made some nice choices. I visited the website and was pleasantly surprised to find a collection with very unique pieces in a variety of metals and finishes. If you choose to subscribe to the VIP, you’ll complete a style quiz that indicates your style preferences or you can email them to the Cate & Chloe stylists who will customize your selections.
