Hello Pretties,
I hope you all had a great weekend! I was pretty busy – shopping and lunch with my baby sis. It is so much fun shopping for my nieces and nephew. Then Saturday night, I had the pleasure of meeting a fellow blogger in person. The biggest benefit of blogging is the sense of community. Honestly y’all, I just really grasped this concept this year. It’s all about connections and caring and sharing. Merrie from Petite Career Girl was visiting The A and it was a blast finally meeting in person. Merrie actually selected one of her favorite restaurants in The A, Goldfish. And, I have to tell ya’ it did not disappoint. She is a frequent visitor to my blog and I so appreciate the support and blogship. Hmmm, did I just invent a word? LOL We talked about blogging, careers, family, and of course fashion. I hope to have a fun collabo with her in 2015, be sure to visit her blog today!!
Really great time! Then Sunday was fun but bitter-sweet, as one of my sweet friends is relocating and we had nice lunch on Sunday. As I have gotten older, I really appreciate the genuine friendships I have made. So blessed to have good friends in my life!
Now, this dang Christmas tree dress. This DIY gave me the business. The only thing I can’t find, at a reasonable price, is the dress form. Still looking, I’ll keep y’all posted.
How was your weekend, what did you do?

Ohh…your post looks so good! It’s making me angry that I already finished my shrimp n’ grits. 🙁 I had a blast with you too…we’ll have to hang out soon. BTW…make sure you stop by today’s post 🙂
Hey Merrie
Yes, next time I’m definitely trying the shrimp n’ grits! Happy Holidays!
