Black And Floral For Valentine’s Day – OOTD #73

Hello,
We had snow flurries on yesterday, nothing major, thank goodness. Hoping for good weather as we get ready for Love Weekend. We talked about wearing black on Valentine’s Day and today I’m sharing one of my choices. Neoprene has become a popular fabric for dresses and skirts and I have wanted to try it without spending a whole bunch of coins for what could be an unwearable or uncomfortable item. So I decided to use Gwynnie Bee to sample the trend. Take a peek…

So I knew I wanted to forgo wearing red and wear black instead, without sacrificing style with just a boring LBD(little, black dress), so I picked a neoprene dress in black with a prominent floral print. The open sleeve adds a sweet design element. I love the fit and feel of this dress. The neoprene fabric is just the right weight and glides over the body for a perfect fit. The big red roses work so well for a Valentine’s Day look. Paired with some really simple, classic accessories – a totally fun and whimsical handbag, simple gold watch and a nice black pump with a grosgrain bow.

Gwynnie Bee

Gwynnie Bee is how I began my OOTD of the day adventures, without buying an entirely new wardrobe; the tunic I wore in the very first OOTD was from Gwynnie Bee. With this subscription service you can borrow stylish, on-trend clothing items and keep them, wear as long as you want, buy them, or return if any items don’t work. I’m definitely buying this one! You can try Gwynnie Bee and get a free month of clothes!

I’m ready for Love Day in this classy black dress! Have you tried this subscription service?

I love floral dresses! This dress looks great on you girl! I didn’t do red for Valentine’s Day either, I did a black lace skirt with a t-shirt.
