A Beautiful Mess of Paper

Messy- Box-Subscription-paper

Hello,
Let’s talk planners and paper pretties. I am still in love with my Inkwell Press Planner. The layout works so perfectly and the Mission Board is keeping me on track each month. But, I have THE most fun decorating my planner for the month and for the week. To do that, I need a ton of journal cards, washi tape, and pretty paper. It can be so pricey to buy paper so when I heard about the Messy Box subscription from A Beautiful Mess, I signed up and I have not been disappointed.

The girls over at A Beautiful Mess are known for taking great photographs so they started this subscription for photo books. But I thought it would be great to use with planner decorating. Who doesn’t love pretty paper for journal cards and the dashboard? The subscription is $20 bucks a month, but you can try a box or use the subscription. The theme for this box is all about Spring which is perfect for April and even May’s planner decorating.

Here’s what I got:
– 6 9×12″ pattern pages
– rotary phrase stamp
– journaling cards (6 3×4″ 6 4×6″ and 12 3×3″)
– rainbow washi tape
– tiny alphas
– die cut plastic shapes

Ohhh these goodies are fantastic, especially the small journal cards and the die-cut shapes. The rubber stamp has cute phrases like “yes/no/maybe”, “let’s do this”, and “make a mess”. The color palette has a lot of variety with corals, black and white and teals. There are endless ways to incorporate all of these goodies into weekly/monthly planner decorating.

I’m very happy and I’ll share the best boxes! What do you think about a paper subscription?
