Hello,
We are finishing strong this year and checking off our last projects, big or small. Today I am sharing my last to-do, a gallery wall for my living room. I mentioned that this project was long overdue so I am so happy to have it finished! This project is super easy and fast and takes on 5 easy steps. Take a peek!
5 Steps To A Gallery Wall
1 – Select your frames. I was going to thrift the frames, but real talk, I just did not have the patience to hunt for the frames. So when I found a gallery set at Target, I hollered. These frames made the project easy peasy. The kit contained 6 frames in varying sizes from 4 X 6 to 11 X 14.
2 – Select the art/pictures for your wall. I was happy as all get out to find this gallery wall pad of artwork at Hobby Lobby. The pad contains 14 pieces of art and graphics in multiple sizes.
3 – Arrange the frames for your wall layout. You can use craft paper for a wall mock-up but I just laid the frames out on the floor.
4 – Add the art or graphics. Use a mix of artwork, graphics or even objects. I added the letter “r” to make the layout more interesting
5 – Use a level to make sure all the frames are lining up nicely
Before and After
Love how this project turned out! The gallery wall is more modern and fits with the room’s aesthetic. The art pad and frame kit were real time savers too! The art pad has a lot more prints and graphics I didn’t use so I can change things up in the future. The frame kit came with a huge diagram of suggestions for composing the gallery wall. There is no right or wrong way to compose a gallery wall. Consider adding a shadow box, a wall shelf, or even a mirror.
2015 goals finished! Who has a gallery wall or would like to create one?

Your creative juices are flowing here Sis and this looks so professional and expensive. I love the designs you chose and the idea that you can change the pics out when your mood changes is a bonus. HAPPY 2016 my dear, looking forward to much more. . . .
