12 Dorm Room Goodies

August 11, 2015 by robincharmagne

Hello,
How’s everyone doing? Sending positive vibes to ya’! Have y’all been enjoying seeing all the kid’s first day of school pics? I always loved school and still have a love of learning, so it just makes me giddy! Not so many pics of the college kids going back or just starting their college careers. Maybe they are preoccupied with snagging stuff for their fancy smancy dorm rooms.

I remember my dorm room, it was not decked out at all, really kinda plain. I had a navy blue comforter set from Sears, a small fridge, desk lamp, bath stuff and a husband(back rest), that’s it. My folks were all about reading, writing, and rithmatic’ and not letting me have a fancy room. Guess what else I had? Wait for it….a typewriter. Yep, no computers. That makes me feel so ancient but I used that thing for a minute. Kids today have these dorm rooms decked out to the max. My niece’s dorm room was more like an apartment with all the trimmings. If you have a sweet kiddo headed to college, I’ve handpicked some goodies to make any student smile!

These price points range from $6 to $60 so that is quite reasonable for goodies to make life easier for your student. We want them focused on their studies and not looking for a place to put their dirty laundry. I love the bed shelf, definitely a fave. Heck I could use that in my bedroom. The dorm pillow is super cute, but pricey at $60 bucks. Would really kick their dorm decor to the next level, especially paired nicely with a duvet. Once you have all the trimmings, check out Dormify for decorating inspiration. I hope all the students have a successful and fun school year!

Was your dorm room decked out?
